Thank you for this informative video! Does the pocket daily moleskin fit in travelers notebook brand covers?

This is a very detailed comparison video, thanks for sharing! Moleskine needs to pay you 🤣I feel like Moleskine's quality has gone downhill over the years (and the prices have not). When I was in high school over 20 years ago, I remember having a black Moleskine was like THE most bougie thing to do if you were an artist and writer :D I looked forward to the day I could afford my first one!

Thank you, Greg! I know! Moleskine was the 'fancy' notebook LOL I mean, the price is still fancy 😅 It is kind of wild that with dozens of notebook offerings in the market it's still hard to find that perfect notebook! I've been leaning towards thick paper 120gsm notebooks lately so I don't have to worry about any of my pens. I still have a ton of Moleskine notebooks though, I'm using them for brainstorming and stream of consciousness journaling, with Energel and such.

This week I ordered both of these and was disappointed by both. The leuchturrurm smelled horrible like chemicals (probably the glue). Tried airing out and still smells. The Moleskine I tried using my sharpie pen (favorite pen) and bled through. I even tested my pen in an old moleskine and no bleed through. Both are unusable to me, decided to use a Hobonichi day free.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience! I have never experienced something like this with Leuchtturm1917 or Moleskine! I haven't tried Sharpie, I honestly don't own any because I'm always worried about the bleed-through. These small daily planners have a thinner paper than regular planners to fit a year, I was impressed that none of my sample pens bled through. Hobonichi is definitely a great alternative! Thank you for watching and for sharing! ❤
